Responsible for implementing the project quality management program and ensuring effective EPC Contractor quality management system implementation for procurement quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the Project Quality Plan and oversee Contractor’s Quality Management System to ensure procurement compliance.
- Implement the Procurement Quality Surveillance Program to monitor EPC Contractor procurement activities.
- Manage inspection resources through approved third-party and site inspection services.
- Monitor inspector performance and strengthen inspection coverage at critical manufacturers/vendors.
- Manage deficiencies and NCRs to ensure timely identification, resolution and compliance.
- Monitor and report procurement quality performance, issues, risks and trends.
- Participate in quality audits of procurement, purchasing and subcontracting activities.
- Perform other quality-related duties as directed by the Head of Quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering.
- Additional qualifications in Quality, Welding or NDE Inspection.
- 8 years’ Quality experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- 1 year in a supervisory/oversight role.
- Experience with Oil & Gas operators, contractors or service companies.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to develop and implement Quality Management Systems in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Confident interaction with project teams and Contractors.
- Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills.
