Oversee planning, preparation, and execution of Compression Platform Complex fabrication from yard activities through loadout, ensuring project objectives are met; ensure design constructability and compliance with project drawings, industry standards, and processes while managing interfaces, issues, and resolutions with company and contractor teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure fabrication safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
- Manage topsides fabrication and Mechanical Completion activities.
- Supervise Contractors/Subcontractors against project and international standards.
- Review engineering deliverables for constructability and technical compliance.
- Monitor progress, quality, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate structure, MC, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Lead risk assessments, pre-job, and technical meetings.
- Implement and capture project lessons learned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
- 10 years’ Oil & Gas construction experience on large projects
- 2 years in supervision/oversight.
- Strong knowledge of project execution, field management, fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing, and completions.
- Experience with Oil & Gas operators, EPC/contractors, service providers, or heavy construction companies.
Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of design standards, codes, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Knowledge of offshore/onshore facilities and yard operations.
- Knowledge of sour gas and LNG execution risks.
- Experience in large-scale Operations, Projects, or Subsurface organizations.
