Commissioning and start-up of machinery equipment, providing technical direction and coordinating multidisciplinary teams and EPC contractors to ensure safe, quality-compliant installation, pre-commissioning, and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead machinery design, commissioning and start-up for turbines, compressors, pumps and expanders.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, EPC contractors and key vendors.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with project, safety and quality requirements.
- Oversee machinery installation, pre-commissioning, alignment, flushing, solo runs and start-up.
- Manage system completion, punch lists, closeout and pre-start-up checks.
- Identify performance deficiencies and manage warranty claims.
- Develop machinery execution and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences or Mechanical Engineering.
- 10+ years’ Oil & Gas project experience across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
- 2+ years’ supervisory or vendor oversight experience.
- Expertise in large compressors, turbines, pumps, turbo-expanders, magnetic bearings and dry gas seals.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong technical, prioritization and management skills.
- Strong influencing and interface skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
