Ensure warranty and insurance claim activities are managed in accordance with contracts, executed agreements and Company procedures to protect the company and shareholder interests. Provide specialist oversight of claim strategy, technical and contractual substantiation, dispute resolution, recovery and project-to-Operations handover.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent Company in warranty matters with contractors, vendors and suppliers to enforce warranty coverage.
• Review, prepare and manage operational insurance claims for timely settlement.
• Develop and maintain warranty procedures, governance and responsibilities.
• Coordinate warranty processes across Operations and relevant Company functions.
• Lead transfer of warranty records, ownership and obligations from PMT to Operations.
• Conduct awareness sessions and provide guidance on warranty and claim requirements.
• Review claim substantiation, notify contractors of defects and protect recovery rights.
• Review contractor failure analyses, corrective actions and resolution proposals.
• Coordinate disputed claims, back charges and cost recovery with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor claim performance, risks, ageing and recovery, providing reports and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in engineering, business development, project management, commercial negotiations and/or warranties
• 3+ years in Oil & Gas.
• Ability to work effectively in technically complex, multi-venture environments.
• Working knowledge of EPC/EPCm contracts, warranty obligations, insurance claims and project handover processes.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and constructive thinking skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Ability to analyse technical/contractual issues, resolve disputes and provide clear recommendations.
