Job Description
The Process Engineering Lead will lead process engineering activities for Offshore Projects, providing expert technical guidance on Offshore Topside facilities and ensuring process designs, equipment and deliverables comply with the company, project specifications and international standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure process engineering designs comply with contract requirements, codes and standards.
  • Review and approve process engineering deliverables for facilities and equipment.
  • Plan and schedule engineering deliverables for efficient execution.
  • Lead design reviews, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, 3D model reviews and value engineering.
  • Monitor Contractor progress and delivery of process engineering deliverables.
  • Coordinate with discipline SMEs and manage technical deviations.
  • Manage engineering interfaces for process systems and equipment.
  • Review site queries, redlines and as-built engineering updates.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • 8 years’ engineering experience, including 4 years in Oil & Gas and 1 year in a supervisory/oversight role.
  • Experience managing contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary project execution from FEED to start-up.
  • Strong risk assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in technology adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in large-scale integrated Operations/Projects organizations.
  • SME-level competency in at least one engineering discipline.
  • Experience with sour gas/LNG facilities, offshore platforms and pipelines.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, multicultural offshore teams.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong computer literacy with professional and technical applications.
  • Broad knowledge of mechanical, piping, pipeline, structural, instrumentation, telecom and electrical disciplines.
