Provides oversight of the construction camps, FOCs, and mess halls to ensure compliance with worker welfare, safety, quality, industrial hygiene, and applicable legal requirements. Monitors camp operations, coordinates with SHES teams, and reports corrective actions to management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee camp services, operations, and maintenance managed by contractors and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, accommodation, welfare, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor camp budgets and ensure effective operation and maintenance activities.
- Support reporting, investigation, and resolution of camp SHE incidents.
- Assess and oversee catering facilities in accordance with international standards.
- Monitor camp programmes, accommodation availability, and manpower forecasts.
- Prepare routine reports on camp operations and related issues.
- Support welfare and food committee meetings and other camp-related forums.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on camp services, utilities, security, medical, and emergency services.
- Chair regular camp management meetings and coordinate with camp management teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Humanities, or Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of Oil & Gas experience on large-scale projects.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or personnel oversight experience.
- Strong experience in camp operations and maintenance, preferably as a Camp Boss or equivalent.
- Experience working within large-scale operating organizations.
- Good understanding of HACCP and international food safety standards.
- Proven leadership experience managing contractors, subcontractors, and multiple stakeholders.
