Job Description
Provides technical and discipline support for all process engineering activities across FEED and EPC phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety requirements and operational objectives. Supports technical assurance, resource planning, capability development and deviation management to deliver safe, reliable and fit-for-purpose solutions.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the mechanical engineering discipline and allocate technical authorities to support projects.
  • Review and endorse mechanical designs in compliance with approved standards, codes and specifications.
  • Assess concepts, studies and designs to ensure technical suitability, safety and operational alignment.
  • Develop discipline capabilities through competency development, knowledge sharing and professional training.
  • Provide technical input to project execution strategies, design philosophies and safety requirements.
  • Support resource planning, recruitment, mobilization and competency validation.
  • Advise project teams throughout concept, FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning and start-up.
  • Coordinate contractor mechanical engineering activities to ensure timely technical service delivery.
  • Support discipline standards, technical assurance, standardization and compliance initiatives.
  • Approve technical deviations, waivers and variations within delegated engineering authority.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • 8+ years of engineering experience, including 4+ years in Oil & Gas.
  • 1+ year of supervisory or contractor oversight experience.
  • Experience with Oil & Gas companies, EPC contractors, vendors or service providers.
  • Knowledge of project planning, execution, risk, change and interface management.
  • Strong knowledge of international engineering standards, specifications and design practices.

  • Knowledge of Document Control and Information Management processes.
