Oversee Compression Platform structural fabrication from yard activities through load-out, ensuring safe, efficient execution and alignment with project objectives. Ensure design constructability and resolve fabrication issues through effective coordination between company and contractor teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and fabrication regulations.
- Manage structural fabrication activities to meet safety, quality, and schedule objectives.
- Supervise Contractor/Subcontractor work, ensuring compliance with project requirements and international standards.
- Review engineering deliverables for constructability and technical compliance.
- Review deviations and ensure consistency of construction documentation and deliverables.
- Identify progress or quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor Contractor progress reports and highlight critical concerns or delays.
- Coordinate structural, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Participate in risk assessments, kick-off meetings, pre-job meetings, and technical discussions.
Qualifications:
- Diploma qualification with 8 years of structural supervisory experience on large offshore decks, topsides, or living quarters.
- Experience working with multinational teams and large-scale organizations.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing, and completions.
Skills and Competencies
- Oil & Gas, contractor, service company, or heavy construction experience.
- Knowledge of relevant design standards, specifications, codes, and safety requirements.
- Experience in fabrication, transportation, installation, brownfield, and hook-up activities.
- Knowledge of offshore/onshore facilities, structures, and yard operations.
- Understanding of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG facilities.
