Advise and support Instrumentation/Fire & Gas (F&G) Engineering activities during EPC and Startup phase until handover to permanent Asset whilst ensuring project deliverables meet Operations expectations in term of Safety, Operability, Reliability and Maintainability over the facility design life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Instrument/F&G engineering support for design, SIL/HAZOP, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure reliability, availability, and cybersecurity of critical Instrument/F&G systems.
- Develop best practices, improvement initiatives, plans, and schedules.
- Provide technical support and coordinate contractors, consultants, and service providers.
- Mentor engineers and support integrity/reliability programs.
- Support project tie-ins, issue resolution, and risk management.
- Support high-risk commissioning, system optimization, and Operations/Maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 8 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, ESD/F&G, anti-surge, metering, and turbine/compressor control systems.
- Good knowledge of SIL requirements.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, CONVAL, and InstruCal.
