Advise and support Control Systems Engineering activities during EPC and startup phase until handover to permanent asset whilst ensuring project deliverables meet operation’s expectations in term of safety, operability, reliability and maintainability over the facility design life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide control systems engineering support through design reviews, studies, failure analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Develop surveillance and administration programs to ensure reliability, availability, and cybersecurity of critical control systems.
- Establish best practices and recommend performance improvement initiatives.
- Plan and schedule activities to meet section and division KPIs.
- Provide technical input and support to other disciplines and functions.
- Supervise contractors, consultants, and service providers.
- Mentor junior engineers on integrity and reliability systems.
- Support project tie-ins and maintain issue registers for critical reliability, availability, and cybersecurity risks.
- Support high-risk commissioning through system surveillance, control system tuning, optimization, and operational advisory.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 8+ years of Oil & Gas experience in the relevant specialization.
- Expert knowledge of Industrial Control Systems, including DCS, Triconex, CCC, and PLCs.
Skills and Competencies
- Able to perform and make decisions under high-pressure conditions.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.
