Job Description

Responsible for coordinating and overseeing dredging logistics, including vessel, personnel, material, and equipment mobilization, while managing EPC contractor and port authority interfaces to ensure safe, efficient, compliant, and uninterrupted operations.


 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate dredging vessel, marine traffic, and land logistics activities.
  • Liaise with RLIC/Doha port authorities for permits, clearances, and marine access.
  • Support EPC contractor with customs, import/export, and logistics approvals.
  • Monitor logistics progress, compliance, schedules, and potential operational impacts.
  • Audit contractor logistics systems, resolve interface issues, and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Supply Chain, Marine Transportation, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years’ logistics experience in dredging, marine construction, or Oil & Gas.
  • Knowledge of marine permits, port clearances, shipping, vessel movements, customs, and certifications.
  • Experience coordinating dredging EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and service providers.
  • RLIC Port or Middle East experience preferred.

Skills and Competencies
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, coordination, and planning skills.
  • Effective mediation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
