Provide technical and discipline support for piping and layout engineering throughout FEED and EPC phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety requirements and operational objectives. Support technical assurance, resource planning, capability development, deviation reviews and delivery of safe, reliable and fit-for-purpose solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead piping engineering discipline resources and allocate technical authorities to projects.
Review and approve designs for compliance with standards, codes, specifications and operational requirements.
Evaluate concepts, studies and detailed designs, recommending optimized technical solutions.
Develop discipline competencies through knowledge sharing, mentoring and professional development.
Provide technical input on project strategies, design philosophies, safety and operability requirements.
Plan resources and support recruitment, mobilization and competency validation.
Provide piping and layout guidance from concept through FEED, construction, commissioning and startup.
Coordinate piping and layout engineering activities for timely project delivery.
Support discipline standards, technical assurance and engineering standardization.
Review and approve technical deviations, waivers and variations within delegated authority.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
8+ years’ engineering experience
4+ years in Oil & Gas
1+ year in supervision/oversight.
Basic proficiency in 3D modelling tools (PDS/SP3D).
Strong piping and layout expertise in NGL projects, standards, codes, safety, offshore design, construction and operations.
FEED/EPC experience with large utility systems and inlet facilities.
Knowledge of applicable international engineering standards and practices.
