Implement the project quality management program and oversee the effective implementation of the Contractor’s QMS during jacket and topsides fabrication. Supervise quality activities supported by the site Quality team, to ensure overall project quality objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Yard, Welding/NDE, Systems Completion, and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor, report, and improve EPC Contractor, Subcontractor, and Vendor quality performance.
- Manage NCRs, technical deviations, lessons learned, and corrective actions.
- Support safety programs through site safety walks and observations.
- Identify quality/progress concerns and recommend process or specification improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering.
- Additional qualifications in Quality, Welding, or NDE Inspection.
- 10+ years’ Oil & Gas Quality experience, including 2+ years in supervision/oversight.
- Experience with Oil & Gas Operators, Contractors, or Service Companies.
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to develop and implement Oil & Gas Quality Management Systems.
- Confidently engage with project teams and Contractors.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and planning skills.
