Coordinates the Project cost estimating, overseeing Contractor performance, developing cost estimates and confidence packages, and implementing cost estimation plans, processes, and controls to meet Company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops classified/unclassified EPC estimates and cost breakdown structures.
- Reviews Contractor change proposals and prepares internal cost estimates.
- Establishes benchmarking, reporting, and cost-control measures.
- Performs quantity take-offs from engineering drawings and applies appropriate rates.
- Provides cost-estimating expertise, project controls support, and estimate confidence packages.
- Coordinates cost/schedule estimates with Project Teams and manages multiple priorities.
- Supports lessons learned, issue resolution, collaboration, and team briefings on estimating processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business, technical, engineering, or management discipline.
- 8+ years’ relevant business experience, including 4+ years in Oil & Gas.
- 1+ year in a supervisory, acting, or contractor/vendor oversight role.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong planning, organisation, prioritisation, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Intermediate Power BI knowledge and familiarity with cost estimating tools.
