Oversee planning and execution of Compression Platform Mechanical/HVAC activities from yard preparation through loadout, ensuring project objectives are met. Ensure design constructability, compliance with engineering drawings and industry standards, and effective resolution of issues through strong Company–Contractor coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and compliant piping fabrication execution.
- Supervise piping fabrication, MC, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
- Monitor contractor compliance with project, technical and contractual requirements.
- Review constructability, deviations and engineering deliverables.
- Track progress, quality, risks and corrective actions.
- Coordinate contractor activities, reporting and technical meetings.
Qualifications:
- Diploma qualification.
- 8+ years’ offshore mechanical experience.
- Experience with large topsides/decks/living quarters.
- Experience working with multinational teams.
- Knowledge of project execution and field management.
- Knowledge of fabrication, welding, lifting and mechanical testing.
- Experience in mechanical completions.
Skills and Competencies
- Oil & Gas, EPC, service or heavy construction experience.
- Knowledge of design standards, codes and safety requirements.
- Experience in fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield and hook-up.
- Knowledge of offshore, onshore and yard operations.
- Understanding of sour gas and LNG execution risks.
- Experience in large-scale operating organizations.
