Manage and oversee the construction activities performed by the EPC contractor and sub-contractors, ensuring safe execution of the project within the approved project budget and schedule. Drive construction readiness and execution to meet project objectives and support flawless facility start-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote safety, health, environmental, and worker welfare standards across construction activities.
- Direct and coordinate EPC contractor and subcontractor site execution.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations.
- Review and approve construction methodologies, work packs, lifting plans, and site procedures.
- Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, model reviews, and constructability workshops.
- Ensure timely achievement of project milestones and deliverables.
- Monitor progress, manpower, productivity, and performance reports.
- Lead recovery planning and schedule optimization.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
- Advise on material handling, soil movement/disposal, and warehousing to support construction progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in large Oil & Gas construction projects.
- Experience in construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, and hook-up activities.
- Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience, including acting or service/vendor oversight roles.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe.
- Strong organizational, planning, coordination, and execution skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
