SHES Lead (NFE & NFS – QFAB) ensures implementation of project SHES requirements at the fabrication yard to achieve compliance and safety objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate SHES during fabrication, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and load-out activities.
- Ensure contractor compliance with project SHES procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee contractor SHES performance, KPIs, and daily site activities.
- Coordinate SHES training, competency, and contractor staffing effectiveness.
- Promote safety culture, risk awareness, and behavioral safety programs.
- Support on-job training, safety observations, and Life Saving Rules implementation.
- Lead safety inspections, PTW reviews, and action tracking.
- Support incident investigations, trend analysis, and corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with project procedures, regulations, and standards, ensuring timely intervention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Science, Engineering, or SHES-related discipline, or equivalent NEBOSH/NVQ/British Safety Council qualification.
- Minimum 8 years of SHES experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role.
Skills and Competencies
- Experience with Oil & Gas operators, contractors, or service companies.
- Experience in large-scale operations or projects.
- Knowledge of SHES management systems and programs.
