Provide cost control leadership, oversee project costs, and develop/maintain cost control procedures and standardized reporting across EPC contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate cost data, reporting, and visibility across all EPC contracts.
- Lead and standardize cost control practices across Project Cost Engineers.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, funding, and cost-at-completion.
- Develop and maintain WBS/CBS, cost estimates, and annual budgets.
- Monitor contractor cost performance, trends, earned value, and corrective actions.
- Identify and mitigate cost risks; support recovery planning.
- Oversee project commitments, change orders, and budget compliance.
- Develop cost reporting tools and support EPC tender evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years experience, including 4 years in Oil & Gas and 1 year in a supervisory or contractor oversight role.
Skills and Competencies
- Experience with Oil & Gas operators, EPC contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Strong knowledge of project controls, including planning, cost, contracts, risk, change, procurement, and reporting.
- Experience managing major EPC lump-sum projects from the Owners perspective; client experience is an advantage.
- Proficient in ERP/Project Management systems (e.g., SAP) and fluent in English.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
