The Head of Procurement leads and manages all procurement activities to ensure objectives are achieved within approved scope, budget, and schedule, while meeting applicable quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all project procurement activities and contractor handover.
- Monitor contractor procurement to ensure cost, schedule, quality, and compliance objectives are met.
- Review and approve procurement procedures, plans, and documentation.
- Oversee vendor qualification, quality, and procurement issue resolution.
- Build and maintain relationships with EPC contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor procurement execution and materials management performance.
- Develop and improve procurement policies, processes, and best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Project Procurement Team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, Law, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years\' relevant experience, including 4 years in Oil & Gas and 1 year in a supervisory or contractor oversight role.
Skills and Competencies
- Experience working with EPC contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, preferably on offshore LNG projects.
- Strong knowledge of procurement practices, industry standards, and stakeholder requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
- Proficient in English and standard office/project management software.
- Strong leadership, commercial negotiation, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
