Responsible for implementing the client quality management program, overseeing Contractor’s quality system execution, and managing quality activities at Karimun yard to achieve NFPS Compression Project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Yard Fabrication, Welding/NDE, Systems Completion, and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance.
- Monitor welding quality activities, inspection records, NCRs, and technical deviations for timely closure.
- Provide quality performance feedback, reporting, and coordination with Head of Quality, Site Manager, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Support safety programs through site walks and safety observations.
- Manage lessons learned to improve fabrication processes and specifications.
- Identify quality and progress concerns and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform other quality-related tasks as assigned by the Quality Division Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering with relevant quality, welding, or NDE qualifications.
- 10+ years’ Oil & Gas quality experience, including supervisory roles and contractor/vendor oversight.
Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of industry standards and Quality Management Systems.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to engage with project teams and contractors, with strong analytical, organizational, and planning capabilities.
