Oversees fabrication planning and execution from yard to load-out, ensuring objectives are met, constructability compliance with engineering standards, and effective issue resolution through coordination with Company and contractor teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication activities.
- Manage execution of fabrication works to meet safety, quality, and schedule objectives.
- Supervise contractors/subcontractors to ensure compliance with contracts, project documents, and international standards.
- Review engineering deliverables for constructability and technical compliance.
- Evaluate and manage deviations from construction standards to ensure consistent project dossiers.
- Identify progress and quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Review contractor progress reports and highlight risks, delays, and performance issues.
- Coordinate with contractors on construction, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Lead participation in risk assessments, kick-off, and technical meetings.
- Implement lessons learned from previous projects and capture best practices for ongoing work.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering.
- 10 years Oil & Gas construction experience, including 2 years supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, installation, execution, completions, welding, lifting, and field management.
Skills and Competencies
- Experience with operators, contractors, and heavy construction companies.
- Knowledge of design standards, codes, and safety requirements for major construction activities.
- Familiar with offshore, onshore, and yard operations.
- Understanding of sour gas and LNG project execution risks.
- Experience in large-scale Oil & Gas operating environments.
