Leads warranty closeout at project handover, managing defect resolution and claims with contractors and OPCO to ensure compliance, operational continuity, and financial stability across EPCIC phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage warranty claim register and EPC–Company coordination.
- Drive end-to-end warranty claims, prioritizing and closing defects.
- Oversee defect tracking, assignment, and repair execution.
- Support PM on EPC engineering, construction, QA/QC, safety, interface, and commissioning.
- Coordinate resolution of operational/start-up findings with EPC team.
- Support ORP delivery aligned with OES requirements.
- Promote strong HSE culture and performance.
- Support training programs for Qatari graduates during EPC.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
- 8+ years Oil & Gas experience across project management, engineering, construction, or procurement, including 1 year supervisory role.
- 5+ years in project execution with strong commissioning and startup exposure.
- 3+ years in warranty coordination with proven claim resolution experience.
Skills and Competencies
- Experience with EPC contractors, subcontractors, and vendors in Oil & Gas projects.
- Exposure to LNG operations, including cause & effect analysis and debottlenecking of operational issues.
- Preferred local project experience.
- Strong computer literacy in professional and technical tools.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Strong planning, organization, teamwork, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities.
