To identify safe, reliable, and efficient machine operation and potential failure modes, develop mitigation strategies, and provide expert condition monitoring analysis along with actionable recommendations for rotating equipment across multiple assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert troubleshooting and recommendations for complex rotating equipment failure modes.
- Conduct machinery condition investigations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
- Perform advanced diagnostics on condition monitoring systems (3500 racks, System 1, ADRE 408, AMS Suite).
- Execute field activities including rotor trim balancing, instrument installation, and hardware upgrades.
- Coordinate with Controls, Instrumentation, and Electrical teams; prepare technical and non-technical reports and presentations.
- Support analysts and contractors to deliver best-in-class condition monitoring services.
- Contribute to large multidisciplinary condition monitoring projects.
- Mentor and train junior staff, including NDP graduates and less experienced personnel.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Monitor KPIs for assigned areas and report deviations to management promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 6 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
Skills and Competencies
- Fluent in English (strong verbal and written communication skills)
- Computer literate with proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools
