Execute and support inspection activities during EPC and Startup phase until handover to permanent Asset to ensure a safe, efficient and reliable operation of the new facilities by early defect detections in accordance with established policies, procedures, instructions and targets.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual inspections and NDT on static equipment, piping, lifting equipment, and safety devices.
• Perform integrity assessments and prepare inspection reports using Meridium or similar systems.
• Monitor maintenance/project activities for compliance with procedures, codes, and standards.
• Execute or supervise NDT activities (UT, MT, PT, PMI, IRIS, thermography, etc.).
• Raise and track inspection recommendations and SAP notifications to closure.
• Maintain inspection tools, equipment, records, and databases.
• Support inspection programs, special assignments, and annual targets.
• Supervise contractor inspection teams and ensure quality compliance.

Qualifications:

• HND in Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of in-service inspection experience.

Skills and Competencies

• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and relevant inspection software.
• Experienced with Meridium or similar asset integrity management systems.
• Knowledge of RBI, corrosion, corrosion control, and damage mechanisms.
• Basic understanding of plant processes and materials.
• Familiar with inspection methods: UT, MT, PT, RT, and advanced NDT.
• Knowledge of applicable international codes and standards.
• Certified in API 510/570 (or equivalent); API 653 preferred/required as applicable.
