Advise and support Mechanical Engineering activities (in the general areas of piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and packaged equipment) for both onshore and offshore facilities during EPC and Start-up phase until handover to permanent Asset whilst ensuring project deliverables meet Operations expectations in term of Safety, Operability, Reliability and Maintainability over the facility design life cycle.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide mechanical support (piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, packaged equipment) across lifecycle (design to operation)
• Lead troubleshooting, failure analysis, and integrity assurance
• Develop work packs for maintenance modifications and tie-ins
• Define best practices and drive reliability improvements
• Identify and resolve equipment/piping degradation and failures
• Supervise contractors and external service providers
• Mentor junior engineers on integrity and reliability systems
• Manage issue register and technical risks impacting availability
• Support MOC to ensure safe, reliable operations
• Participate in RCFA, risk assessments, and safety/value improvement reviews

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 6+ years’ oil & gas industry experience
• Senior Engineer competency level (Mechanical Technical Competencies)
• Skilled in design calculations and verification using PV Elite, CAESAR II, Nozzle Pro

Skills and Competencies

• Strong engineering judgment with knowledge of pressure vessel repair/alterations (NBIC compliant)
• Able to work and make decisions under high-pressure conditions
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in standard office and engineering software tools
