Plan and support Instrumentation/Fire & Gas (F&G) Engineering activities with Sr. Engineer level competency during EPC and Startup phase until handover to permanent Asset whilst ensuring project deliverables meet Operations expectations in term of Safety, Operability, Reliability and Maintainability over the facility design life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Instrument & F&G engineering (design reviews, SIL, HAZOP, commissioning, troubleshooting)
- Implement surveillance, integrity, and reliability programs for critical systems
- Ensure safety, availability, reliability, and cybersecurity of systems
- Provide technical input to multidisciplinary teams
- Supervise contractors and external service providers
- Mentor junior engineers
- Manage project tie-ins and system integration
- Track and resolve technical issues and technology risks
- Support high-risk commissioning, tuning, and operational optimization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 6+ years’ experience in oil & gas
- Strong knowledge of DCS, PLCs, ESD/F&G systems
- Experience with anti-surge control systems, metering systems, and turbine/compressor control systems
- Full understanding of SIL requirements

- Able to work and make decisions under high-pressure conditions
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, CONVAL, and InstruCal
