Manage the contracts strategy for the Onshore Projects by controlling, directing, and implementing the contract management process while leading the development and stewardship of contracts plans across the Project. Provide technical, commercial, and functional leadership in all aspects of contracting, including the preparation and administration of ITT packages and EPC Contracts within a high-value, complex project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all project contracting activities (ITT, EPC, Services CWO) in alignment with Legal and stakeholders.
- Develop contract strategies and manage EPC/tendering process ensuring scope clarity, risk balance, and compliance.
- Evaluate bids and advise leadership on commercial, technical, and award decisions.
- Oversee contract administration including payments, variations, claims, securities, and close-out.
- Lead negotiations, disputes, and commercial correspondence to protect project interests.
- Drive risk mitigation, commercial governance, and performance across major capital projects.
- Build and develop contracts team capability and performance culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or Engineering
- 12+ years’ Oil & Gas experience across project management, engineering, construction, procurement, etc.
- Minimum 3 years in Project Management leadership on a major Oil & Gas project
- Strong background in business and risk management
- Experience in project controls, cost and schedule development
- Skilled in tender preparation and contract management
