Support the Compression EPC contractor to safely and successfully execute CP topsides coating and insulation works in line with project objectives, ensuring HSE, quality, planning, and efficient delivery for project while confirming constructability aligns with engineering drawings and industry standards through effective interface and issue resolution between company and contractor teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce HSE compliance during fabrication activities
- Oversee coating and insulation execution to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets
- Support contractors ensuring compliance with project specs and international standards
- Verify constructability and engineering deliverables
- Review and manage deviations from company\'s standards
- Monitor progress, quality, and performance; recommend corrective actions
- Review contractor reports and flag risks/issues
- Coordinate with contractors on coating and insulation execution and reporting
- Participate in risk, kickoff, and technical meetings
- Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement (REX)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or Engineering.
- 8+ years’ experience in large Oil & Gas construction projects.
- Experience across construction disciplines (fabrication, installation, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.).
- Expertise in coating and insulation activities.
- Relevant additional experience may substitute for formal technical education.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of project execution and field management (fabrication, welding, lifting, testing, completions).
- Oil & Gas industry experience with operators, contractors, or service companies.
- Familiar with codes, standards, specifications, and HSE requirements for fabrication, transport, installation, and hook-up.
- Understanding of offshore/onshore facilities and yard operations.
- Awareness of execution methods and risks in sour gas and LNG projects.
- Experience in large-scale organizations (Operations, Projects, Subsurface).
