Led architectural engineering activities for offshore structures, including living quarters, helidecks, topsides, LERs, human factors engineering, area finishes, fireproofing, space and safety requirements, brownfield modifications, detailed design, procurement, material approvals, installation, and commissioning. Reviewed technical requirements to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and execution requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinated architectural engineering, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities for offshore structures.
- Managed contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to meet quality, schedule, and budget targets.
- Reviewed technical documents and purchase orders for contract and scope compliance.
- Ensured design compliance with project requirements, change management, and key milestones.
- Applied and captured lessons learned to enhance project performance.
- Verified contractor compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and procedures.
- Supported design reviews, audits, and compliance assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Architecture.
- 8+ years of experience in offshore Oil & Gas projects covering construction, fabrication, installation, hook-up, and commissioning activities.
- Experience supervising teams, contractors, vendors, and service personnel.
- Strong knowledge of offshore design standards, specifications, codes, safety requirements, and engineering practices.
- Proven experience working with Oil & Gas operators, EPC contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Proficient in applying international engineering standards and design requirements.
- Experienced in risk-based decision-making and technical assessments.
- Knowledgeable in technology implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience within large integrated organizations across projects, operations, and engineering functions.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Architectural Engineering.
