Job Description

Provides technical leadership for commissioning, startup, and handover of rotating equipment and related mechanical systems. Develops and standardizes commissioning strategies, procedures, and best practices across projects. Works closely with project teams, EPC contractors, vendors, and operations to ensure successful commissioning execution and readiness.


 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review rotating equipment commissioning documents, procedures, and vendor deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance of startup methods, technical solutions, and commissioning activities.
  • Develop and standardize commissioning procedures, practices, and lessons learned.
  • Evaluate vendors, resources, and specialist support requirements.
  • Support testing, startup readiness, commissioning execution, and project milestones.
  • Verify commissioning records, participate in audits, reviews, and operational handover activities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
  • 8+ years of Oil & Gas commissioning experience, including technical oversight or leadership roles.

Skills and Competencies
  • Strong expertise in rotating equipment, mechanical systems, commissioning, startup, and handover activities.
  • Experience supporting large EPC projects and multiple execution teams.
  • Skilled in commissioning procedures, system completions, startup methodologies, and technical documentation.
  • Proficient in P&IDs, datasheets, drawings, codes, standards, and project specifications.
  • Knowledge of project execution, operations, systems completion, and LNG industry vendor interfaces.
