Job Description
The Systems Completion Lead is responsible for overseeing, leading and tracking the mechanical completion and systems handover activities. Ensuring sub-system and system meet project specification requirements as per approved procedures.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Close ITRs, punch lists, and exceptions before completion certification
  • Maintain SCDB integrity (tags, ITR allocation, documents, reporting)
  • Identify and resolve data/database inconsistencies
  • Verify EPC completion dossiers (MC, pre-commissioning, commissioning, handover)
  • Review work packs and commissioning plans for safe handover
  • Monitor preservation compliance
  • Capture and track lessons learned
  • Track subsystem progress for timely handover
  • Ensure accurate as-built and turnover documentation
  • Control MC, CSA, commissioning, and RFSU documentation

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering
  • 8+ years Oil & Gas commissioning experience, incl. 1+ year supervisory/oversight role
  • Mechanical Completion and System Handover experience in O&G/petrochemical/industrial projects
  • Strong knowledge of certification gates and certificate types
  • Strong understanding of ITR types, stages, and requirements
  • Knowledge of punch list classification and management
  • Experience with CMS tools (WinPCS, ICAPS, Hexagon or equivalent)
  • Familiar with construction, QA/QC, and commissioning interfaces
  • Strong reporting, communication, and organizational skills
  • Good understanding of HSE standards and safe system handover practices

  • Effective leadership, contractor coordination, and reporting skills
  • Strong organizational ability and technical judgment
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, heavy workload, and shifting priorities
  • Excellent English communication (spoken and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
