rovides commissioning oversight to EPC contractors, subcontractors, and vendors; coordinates with facilities, engineering, and operations teams; and supports EPC workshops, shop inspections, and factory acceptance testing (FAT) as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review EPC contractor documents, reports, and technical submissions.
- Assess technical deviations, exceptions, and new technologies for compliance.
- Apply and share project lessons learned.
- Support qualification of new suppliers.
- Evaluate contractor manpower and resource requirements.
- Support milestone achievement and schedule recovery planning.
- Witness testing activities and approve test records.
- Verify contractor progress reporting.
- Participate in quality audits and corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
- 8+ years of Oil & Gas commissioning experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards, codes, safety, and compliance.
- Experience in commissioning, completions, walkdowns, and PSSR.
- Extensive HVAC commissioning experience on large EPC projects.
- Expertise in TAB, AHU/fan testing, and refrigeration systems.
- Knowledge of room integrity testing and F-Gas regulations.
- Familiarity with AHI Carrier and Wozair equipment.
- Proficient in P&IDs, datasheets, GA drawings, and procedures.
- Experience in project execution, operations, start-up, and LNG systems.
- Background with Oil & Gas operators, EPC contractors, and vendors.
