Job Description

Managed business support for Technical (Major Projects), covering reporting, risk and issues management, governance, compliance, QGPMS, and manpower coordination to ensure projects were delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with strategic goals.


 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Managed project business functions including risk management, QGPMS, reporting, recruitment, and governance to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality project delivery.
  • Delegated responsibilities to section heads while ensuring effective coordination and support to project leadership.
  • Oversaw project reporting, governance documentation, and compliance with reporting procedures and confidentiality requirements.
  • Ensured QGPMS compliance, maintained risk registers, and supported mitigation planning throughout project execution.
  • Supported recruitment, manpower planning, process improvement, IT systems, and competency assurance to enable efficient project execution.
  • Monitored procedural compliance and supported internal and external audits.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Law, Sciences, or related disciplines.
  • 15+ years of business function experience, including 12+ years in Oil & Gas and 5+ years in supervisory or contractor oversight roles.

Skills and Competencies
  • Extensive experience with Oil & Gas operators, EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and service companies.
  • Strong expertise in planning, scheduling, cost control, contracts, procurement, risk and change management, reporting, and support services.
  • Sound knowledge of international standards, best practices, risk-based decision making, SAP, dashboards, and data analytics.
  • Experienced in managing business functions within large-scale integrated operating organizations and projects.
