Job Description
Managed I&C engineering for NFS Onshore Project, ensuring compliance, reviewing deliverables, resolving technical issues with EPC and vendors, and supporting start-up until performance test completion.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure I&C execution complies with QatarEnergy LNG standards and QGPMS.
  • Conduct cold eye reviews of key I&C deliverables.
  • Lead I&C design and ensure EPC compliance with project requirements and regulations.
  • Resolve technical issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Review I&C purchase orders for safe integration with existing systems.
  • Monitor progress, schedules, and recommend recovery actions for delays.
  • Track EPC milestones and provide engineering guidance.
  • Support commissioning, start-up, and cross-discipline coordination.
  • Manage I&C interface coordination with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to safety studies and lessons learned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instrument and Control Engineering.
  • 10 years’ I&C engineering experience, including 6 years in Oil & Gas and 2 years in supervisory/oversight roles.

Skills and Competencies
  • Preferable experience in major LNG projects.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering execution, design standards, codes, safety criteria, and LNG/utility systems.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong organisational, planning, coordination, and prioritisation skills.
  • Effective technical leadership, communication, influencing, and interface management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
