Job Description
Responsible for managing Commissioning during preparation and execution stage of each wellhead platform to ensure objectives are safely met within the approved scope and schedule.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage electrical commissioning activities in line with schedule and SIMOPS safety requirements.
  • Lead offshore and onshore electrical commissioning execution.
  • Supervise contractor commissioning activities and methodology compliance.
  • Ensure readiness of commissioning spare parts and special tools.
  • Manage system completion, walkdowns, and PSSR activities.
  • Support preparation of commissioning procedures and check sheets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and cybersecurity requirements (LOTO, PTW, JSA, energization).
  • Maintain lessons learned register for offshore scope.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.
  • 8+ years’ experience in Oil & Gas projects, including supervisory/oversight roles.
  • Knowledge of contract requirements, codes, standards, and technical specifications.
  • Experience in project execution, engineering, operations, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and system completion.
  • Proficient in reading P&IDs, datasheets, GA drawings, and procedures.
  • Experience with LNG industry vendors and packages (compressors, power generation, control systems, topsides).
  • Strong experience in commissioning and OT of electrical systems including UPS, HV/LV systems, transformers, subsea cables, and power distribution.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, protection relays, and control systems.
  • Familiar with LOTO procedures, electrical codes/standards, and ATEX/IEC regulations.
  • Experience managing EPC contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Experience in start-up support, handover to Operations, and offshore environments.

Skills and Competencies
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills within PMT environments.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Computer literate in office and technical applications.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with contractor teams and obtain required information.
  • Experience in interface coordination, support activities, and documentation.
