Responsible for managing Commissioning during preparation and execution stage of each wellhead platform to ensure objectives are safely met within the approved scope and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage electrical commissioning activities in line with schedule and SIMOPS safety requirements.
- Lead offshore and onshore electrical commissioning execution.
- Supervise contractor commissioning activities and methodology compliance.
- Ensure readiness of commissioning spare parts and special tools.
- Manage system completion, walkdowns, and PSSR activities.
- Support preparation of commissioning procedures and check sheets.
- Ensure compliance with safety and cybersecurity requirements (LOTO, PTW, JSA, energization).
- Maintain lessons learned register for offshore scope.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.
- 8+ years’ experience in Oil & Gas projects, including supervisory/oversight roles.
- Knowledge of contract requirements, codes, standards, and technical specifications.
- Experience in project execution, engineering, operations, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and system completion.
- Proficient in reading P&IDs, datasheets, GA drawings, and procedures.
- Experience with LNG industry vendors and packages (compressors, power generation, control systems, topsides).
- Strong experience in commissioning and OT of electrical systems including UPS, HV/LV systems, transformers, subsea cables, and power distribution.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, protection relays, and control systems.
- Familiar with LOTO procedures, electrical codes/standards, and ATEX/IEC regulations.
- Experience managing EPC contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Experience in start-up support, handover to Operations, and offshore environments.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills within PMT environments.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Computer literate in office and technical applications.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with contractor teams and obtain required information.
- Experience in interface coordination, support activities, and documentation.
