Oversee safe and efficient Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning of Electrical and Control Systems, including planning, testing, troubleshooting, integration, and energization, while coordinating stakeholders and supporting EPC Contractors to achieve project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead safe execution of Electrical Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities in line with project schedules and deliverables.
Drive EPC Contractor performance to achieve project milestones and execution targets.
Support troubleshooting, testing, SAT, loop checks, function tests, and energization activities.
Review and support commissioning procedures, check sheets, work packages, and schedules.
Coordinate with Operations, vendors, subcontractors, and other disciplines to resolve execution gaps.
Ensure EPC Contractor compliance with project requirements, specifications, and qualification standards.
Promote adherence to SHES procedures through active field participation and safety engagement.
Prepare reports and validate testing and commissioning results.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.
8+ years of commissioning experience in Oil & Gas projects, including supervisory or vendor oversight roles.
Strong experience in Electrical Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning for LNG/Oil & Gas facilities.
Knowledge of System Completion processes, PSSR, technical walkdowns, and contractual certification.
Experience in systemization, check sheet development, completions databases, and commissioning procedures.
Expertise in HV/LV electrical systems, transformers, switchboards, UPS, lighting, earthing, and protection systems.
Experience with compressors, control systems, and substation commissioning activities.
Good knowledge of international electrical standards and testing practices.
Brownfield, greenfield, shutdown, and tie-in project experience is an advantage.
