Lead project controls across assigned projects, ensuring accurate cost, schedule, and performance tracking, reliable reporting, and insights for decision-making and risk mitigation aligned with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute project controls (schedule, cost, change, progress, risk) per procedures.
Coordinate with QatarEnergy LNG teams and contractors to resolve issues and ensure alignment.
Analyze cost/schedule data, assess performance, risks, and support cost estimating.
Lead schedule development and updates using integrated planning tools.
Manage change and risk processes in line with governance.
Monitor contractor performance and drive corrective actions.
Update baselines with approved changes for accurate reporting.
Maintain integrated project control systems aligned with project execution strategy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas across project functions (engineering, construction, procurement, etc.), including 1 year in a supervisory or acting role.
Experience with Oil & Gas companies, EPC contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of project controls disciplines: planning, scheduling, cost control, estimating, risk, change, claims, procurement, and contract management.
Familiarity with international standards, best practices, and relevant business processes.
SME-level expertise in core discipline with strong decision-making and risk assessment capability.
Proficient in project tools and systems (dashboards, data analytics, SAP, etc.).
Experience supporting large integrated project or operations organizations.
