To provide expert engineering support for the design, review, optimization, and lifecycle management of HVAC systems, ensuring reliable, safe, and compliant operation across company assets while meeting project, regulatory, and performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to ensure HVAC system reliability and asset integrity
- Review designs, shop drawings, and material submittals
- Perform HVAC calculations, assessments, and system evaluations
- Manage end-to-end HVAC engineering solutions
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Participate in design meetings and technical workshops
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost evaluations
- Develop equipment strategies for optimal performance and continuity
- Supervise site activities, inspections, and installations
- Monitor HVAC design activities and recommend improvements
- Ensure consultants/contractors meet company design standards
- Support achievement of business objectives and operational efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (HVAC specialization preferred)
- Minimum 12 years’ relevant experience, preferably within GCC
- Strong expertise in HVAC design, calculations, and technical submittals
- Proven experience in HVAC projects within the oil & gas sector
- Proficient in industry software (e.g., HAP, Revit)
- In-depth knowledge of international and local codes/standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, CIBSE, QCS, etc.)
