Deliver technical training and competency programs to ensure Operations Group Departments’ staff have the right capabilities and skills to operate and maintain company facilities in a safe and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-house technical, simulator, and competency training programs
- Identify training needs and design customized courses and scenarios
- Provide on-the-job training and support knowledge transfer
- Assess staff technical knowledge, skills, and field competence
- Coordinate onboarding programs with line supervision
- Conduct simulator training and develop troubleshooting scenarios
- Define and track metrics for staff readiness on new projects
- Integrate process safety and IIF culture into all training
- Report outcomes and address competency gaps with targeted training
Qualifications:
- HND in Engineering
- Minimum 4 years Oil & Gas operations experience, including 2 years in training roles
- Strong hands-on experience in Operations or Maintenance of Oil & Gas facilities
Skills and Competencies
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- High computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Strong organizational and planning skills
