Job Description
The Piping Commissioning Oversee all Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities for Piping discipline executed offshore by the EPC Contractor. Ensure systems and sub-systems meet project specification requirements as per approved procedures.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Witness contractor scope execution and validate test/check sheets per project requirements
  • Track construction progress during pre-shutdown and shutdown of brownfield WHPs & RTs
  • Oversee offshore pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, ensuring safety and compliance
  • Manage punch list creation, categorization, and clearance through weekly contractor meetings
  • Verify completeness of EPC contractor dossiers from mechanical completion to final handover
  • Monitor contractor preservation activities for compliance with project standards
  • Capture and share lessons learned for inclusion in project register
  • Track subsystem progress via completion management system and ensure timely handovers
  • Control and oversee MC, pre-commissioning (CSA), and commissioning (RFSU) documentation

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences
  • 8+ years’ commissioning experience in medium-to-large Oil & Gas projects
  • Strong knowledge of completion certificate types
  • Proven decision-making and prioritization under pressure
  • Strong technical, analytical, and interface coordination skills
  • Solid understanding of punch list categorization
  • Experience with CMS tools (PIMS, WinPCS, ICAPS, Hexagon or similar)
  • Familiarity with construction, QA/QC, and operations interfaces
  • Excellent organizational, reporting, and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of HSE standards and safe system handover practices

  • Strong commitment to offshore safety protocols and procedures
  • Effective coordination and reporting across stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and technical judgment skills
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and shifting priorities
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Hands-on experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up on major Oil & Gas projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
