Responsibility for analyzing, developing and supporting banking system integrations in Cloud and on-premises environments.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & implement APIs (Apigee/WSO2)
• Manage API lifecycle, portals & access control
• Integrate backend systems & third-party services
• Apply API security (OAuth2, JWT, API keys)
• Monitor, troubleshoot & optimize API performance
• Develop REST APIs (Java); versioning & rate limiting
• Use ESB, IAM, and event-driven architectures
• Enable orchestration, SSO & event integrations
• Containerization (Docker); Kubernetes (plus)
• Hybrid integrations (on-prem & Azure cloud)
• Cloud-native tools (Azure Functions, Blob Storage)
• CI/CD, Terraform & DevOps practices
• Ensure security & compliance (e.g., PCI)
• Code reviews, design discussions & optimization
• Resolve testing issues & align environments
• Stay updated on tech trends
• Ensure data security & stakeholder collaboration

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years experience in system integration, API development (Apigee/WSO2) & DevOps
• Experience in web & database development; banking domain exposure
• Proficient in Azure, Docker & cloud-native technologies
• Hands-on with CI/CD, configuration & infrastructure automation
• Strong knowledge of version control (Git)

Skills and Competencies

• Hands-on with Apigee & WSO2 API Manager
• Apigee policies (AssignMessage, JS/ServiceCallout, RaiseFault, ExtractVariables)
• API security (OAuth2, JWT, API Keys, mTLS, Basic Auth)
• Rate limiting, quotas, threat protection & IP whitelisting/blacklisting
• Integration with core banking, CRM, LOS, payments & digital channels
• WSO2 components (Publisher, Dev Portal, Key Manager) & mediation concepts
• Custom mediators, Java extensions & scripting (JavaScript)
• Strong REST API design; OpenAPI/Swagger
• Azure certifications (Architecture, Dev, DevOps)
• Kubernetes & microservices experience
• Database programming (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
