Job Description
Ensure effective project controls by managing planning and scheduling, including schedule development, analysis (risk, critical/sub-critical activities, variance), timely execution, and compliance with standard processes.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project planning and scheduling, including risk, progress, resources, productivity, and impact analysis through defined procedures.
  • Manage the planning team and coordinate inputs from all project functions (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, interfaces).
  • Ensure contractor compliance with planning/scheduling requirements and project control standards.
  • Oversee project controls deliverables in line with the Company Project Management System.
  • Monitor progress, analyze delays, trends, and impacts, and support recovery planning.
  • Integrate approved changes into the project schedule and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Evaluate contractor performance and enforce corrective actions.
  • Act as interface between management and EPC contractors for planning and scheduling.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 10+ years’ planning experience, including 6+ years in Oil & Gas and 2+ years in supervisory/contractor oversight roles.

Skills and Competencies
  • Experience on major EPC Lump Sum projects in Owner or Contractor environments.
  • Expert in planning/scheduling tools (Primavera P6, Acumen, P6 Risk Analysis).
  • Ability to develop and manage L1–L4 schedules, including logic, sequencing, and resource loading.
  • Strong schedule analysis, delay impact assessment, and reporting capability.
  • Independent, analytical, and able to lead planning deliverables and coordination.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project controls systems.
