Job Description
Lead activities in respect to offshore steel structures (i.e. topsides, decks, bridges, subsea structures, brownfield modifications) detailed design, technical and execution definition, procurement, installation and testing/commissioning. Review project technical requirements and ensure compliance with project requirements.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate offshore structures design, technical execution, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
  • Oversee EPC contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure deliverables meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Review technical attachments and purchase orders for scope compliance.
  • Ensure engineering design aligns with change management, schedule, critical milestones, and recovery plans.
  • Apply and capture lessons learned to improve project performance.
  • Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to specifications, standards, and verification processes.
  • Support review teams and post-audit activities for structural design.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Structural Engineering.
  • 8+ years in large Oil & Gas projects (construction, installation, fabrication, execution, hook-up)
  • 1 year supervisory experience.
  • Broad knowledge of design standards, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities, and structural engineering.
  • Experience with Oil & Gas companies, EPCs, subcontractors, vendors, and service providers.
  • Strong expertise in international engineering standards and specifications.
  • Proven contractor and vendor management across project phases (FEED to Start-up).
  • Skilled in technology adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • SME-level competency in at least one engineering discipline.
  • Experience with sour gas, LNG facilities (onshore), and large offshore platforms/pipelines.
