Oversees marine engineering activities and FEED/EPC contractors to ensure all design and technical requirements are delivered within approved scope, budget, and schedule. Leads marine engineering from design through startup, providing guidance, resolving technical issues, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and procedures. Monitors contractor performance, reviews deliverables, and tracks discipline progress to meet project milestones.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SHES by example and engage in safety activities.
• Ensure compliant, high-quality marine engineering.
• Resolve discipline issues efficiently.
• Apply approved designs to improve safety and efficiency.
• Oversee contractor resources, competency, and tools.
• Support cross-discipline, FEED, and commissioning activities.
• Track RLIC-related berth and dredging requests.
• Monitor contractor progress.

Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in marine/engineering disciplines with STCW II/2 or III/2 certification.
• 8+ years seagoing experience, including 1 year as Chief Engineer or Master.
• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, codes, and oil & gas standards.
• Experience managing offshore marine units in oil & gas.
• Familiarity with berth design and seabed dredging (preferred).
• Brownfield engineering and execution experience.
• Experience in marine studies (metocean, hydrodynamics, mooring analysis).
• LNG/liquid berths and marine piles experience (advantage).
