Job Description
Lead role in the hands-on post-award contract management activities related to managing a multi-billion EPCC contract, and contributing to the safe project delivery on time and on budget
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage post-award EPCC contract commercial and contracting activities.
  • Support the Value Protection Plan, including contractual correspondence and change management.
  • Identify contractual risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare commercial and contract performance reports for project leadership.
  • Coordinate with the Claims team on claims and dispute management.
  • Collaborate with PMT, Legal, and Risk teams on contract-related matters.
  • Support contract evaluations and close-out activities.
  • Operate effectively in a high-value, schedule-driven project environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • 8+ years’ experience in a relevant business/commercial function, including 4+ years in Oil & Gas.
  • 1+ year supervisory/oversight experience managing contractors, subcontractors, or vendors.

Skills and Competencies
  • Experience in post-award Lump Sum major energy projects.
  • Hands-on experience in contract administration, including contractual correspondence and change order/variation management.
  • Ability to provide contractual advice to project management teams.
  • Strong commercial, business, and risk management acumen.
  • Experience in legal matters, claims, and dispute resolution (preferred).
  • Strong commercial correspondence drafting and documentation skills.
  • Experience in post-award Lump Sum major energy projects.
