Support core banking operations, system configuration, migration activities, testing, and user support for the Finastra Equation platform. This role involves both functional and technical responsibilities, ensuring smooth system performance, business continuity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supported Equation migrations (T24 to Equation), deal migrations, data restoration, and reconciliations
• Conducted regression testing, parallel runs, and system validation
• Configured deposit and loan products, including rates, charges, and deal structures
• Performed GL reconstruction, P&L setup, calendar maintenance, and queue integrations
• Prepared test strategies, UAT scripts, and executed functional/regression testing
• Supported upgrades, patches, environment updates, and customized reports
• Provided EOD/daytime support, monitored jobs, and resolved system errors
• Managed interfaces with OPICS, FTI, FPM, and statutory reporting
• Coordinated with business units, implemented changes, and documented processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Finance, or related field
• 5–8 years’ experience in core banking application support
• Expertise in Finastra Equation (EQ/BFEQ) and core banking migrations (e.g., T24 to Equation)
• Strong experience in application support, EOD, and production issue resolution
• Skilled in product configuration for deposits, loans, rates, and charges
• Hands-on in UAT, regression testing, and test case preparation
• Knowledge of data migration, reconciliations, and system upgrades
• Experience with interfaces/integrations (MQ, FPM, OPICS, FTI)
• Understanding of GL, P&L, and core banking operations
