Job Description

Oversee Compression Platform Jacket fabrication from yard activities to load-out, ensuring project objectives, design constructability, and alignment with engineering standards through effective coordination with company and contractor teams.


 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations during fabrication.
  • Manage CP Jackets/Topsides fabrication to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets.
  • Supervise contractor fabrication and Mechanical Completion per contract and standards.
  • Verify constructability and technical compliance of engineering deliverables.
  • Review deviations to construction standards and ensure proper documentation.
  • Monitor progress and quality, recommending corrective actions.
  • Review contractor reports and highlight risks or delays.
  • Coordinate MC, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
  • Lead risk assessments and technical meetings.
  • Apply and capture lessons learned (REX).

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Sciences.
  • 8+ years’ experience in large Jacket construction projects in Oil & Gas, including supervisory roles.

Skills and Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of project execution, fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing, and completions.
  • Experience working with oil & gas operators, contractors, or heavy construction companies.
  • Knowledge of design codes, standards, and safety requirements for fabrication, transport, installation, and hook-up.
  • Understanding of offshore/onshore facilities and yard operations.
  • Familiar with execution risks in sour gas and LNG facilities.
  • Experience in large-scale operating organizations (Operations, Projects, Subsurface).
