Oversee the planning, preparation, and execution of all Compression Platform material preservation activities from yard operations to load-out ensuring key objectives are met or exceeded, and ensure effective implementation of the contractor’s preservation plan and resources during storage, installation, and transportation.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety compliance during fabrication.

• Manage CP Topsides fabrication to meet Safety, Quality, and Schedule objectives.

• Implement Project Preservation Plan and ensure contractor compliance.

• Develop and execute Preservation Surveillance Plan for equipment and materials.

• Conduct quality preservation walkdowns with site PMT.

• Review deviations and maintain consistent project documentation.

• Monitor contractor progress and address critical issues.

• Coordinate with contractors on construction and commissioning activities.

• Lead risk assessments and pre-job meetings.

• Apply and capture lessons learned from past and current projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.

• 8+ years’ experience in large construction projects in Oil & Gas, including supervisory or oversight roles.

• Experience in developing and implementing preservation activities for major offshore production facilities.

Skills and Competencies

• Experience with oil & gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction firms.

• Knowledge of design standards, codes, specifications, and safety criteria for fabrication, transport, installation, and hook-up.

• Familiarity with offshore/onshore facilities and yard operations.

• Understanding of execution methods and risks in sour gas and LNG facilities.

• Experience in large-scale operations, projects, or subsurface organizations.
