Job Description
Oversees Civil/Structural engineering discipline during EPC execution phase, in covering all aspects of civil/structural design to ensure technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget and schedule.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead civil & structural engineering activities and support project strategy.

  • Coordinate technical matters with owners, shareholders, contractors, vendors, and consultants.

  • Develop and update NFW Onshore policies and procedures.

  • Ensure external engineering teams meet project and company objectives.

  • Evaluate complex issues and provide recommendations; support other disciplines.

  • Implement best practices, lessons learned, and improvement tools.

  • Ensure compliance with project management systems; develop plans and schedules.

  • Support contracting and procurement from pre-qualification to close-out.

  • Guide FEED, EPC, and third-party services to meet scope, standards, schedule, and budget.

  • Maintain records of design revisions for contract administration.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

  • 8 years’ engineering experience, including 4 years in Oil & Gas and 1 year in supervisory/oversight roles.

  • Experience with Oil & Gas companies, EPC contractors, subcontractors, and service/vendor personnel.

  • Strong knowledge of international engineering standards, specifications, and design.

  • Familiar with project planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, change management, interface management, commissioning, and handover processes.

  • Experience managing contractors and third-party vendors across project phases, preferably FEED to start-up.

  • Skilled in risk-based decision-making.

  • Experienced in technology adoption and continuous improvement.

  • Worked in large integrated operating organizations (Operations, Projects, Subsurface).

  • SME-level competency in at least one engineering discipline.

  • Experience with sour service gas and LNG facilities (Onshore) or large Offshore platforms/pipelines.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

  • Strong leadership, integrity, and experience guiding contractor teams.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, coordination, and planning skills.

  • Effective communication and ability to interface at all levels.

  • Skilled in mediation, conflict resolution, problem-solving, creative thinking, influencing, and empathy.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.

  • Deep knowledge of civil engineering industry codes, standards, and practices.
