Job Description
Manage all commissioning activities at the fabrication yard by providing oversight, guidance, and accountability to ensure safe, compliant, and timely pre-commissioning and commissioning execution. Oversee contractor performance, coordinate with EPC and operations teams, and ensure systems, documentation, and handover packages meet project requirements for a smooth transition to onshore and offshore phases.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the focal point for planning and executing all pre-commissioning and commissioning at the Karimun yard.

  • Ensure PMT support enables safe, timely execution per the approved schedule.

  • Provide oversight to deliver systems safely, compliantly, and ready for start-up.

  • Maximize onshore commissioning to reduce offshore scope and improve schedule.

  • Manage commissioning deliverables for timely inclusion in EPC packages.

  • Control design changes and develop recovery plans for schedule impacts.

  • Foster a positive project culture and high team performance.

  • Resolve technical and interface issues with project teams.

  • Maintain strong relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.

  • Apply Company Lessons Learned to contractor scopes for continuous improvement.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.

  • 10 years’ experience in commissioning/completions management with full responsibility for preparation and execution.

  • Extensive knowledge of project execution, engineering, operations

  • Knowledge of commissioning of offshore greenfield/brownfield facilities and SIMOPS.

  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or oversight role, including acting positions or vendor/service supervision.


Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Strong knowledge of safety leadership, safe work practices, and HSE compliance in commissioning.

  • Strong organizational, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong decision-making, prioritization, technical, and analytical abilities under pressure.

  • Expertise in system completion and commissioning multidiscipline processes and procedures.

  • Ability to review, approve, and manage commissioning plans and checklists.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with system completion tools (Hexagon/WinPCS an advantage).
